PARENT & BABY PHOTO GROUP
3h WORKSHOP
(10am-1pm)
David Game College
£90
Parents will treasure snapshots of their children among their most prized photographs: yet most of these are 'grab shots', often the pictures you take don’t do justice to the event, and the good ones are lucky accidents.
In this relaxed and sociable workshop, Mums (and Dads) can bring their baby to the College, meet with other parents and babies, and learn from Janet Baker how to make the most of any photo opportunity that presents itself in the home or the outside world, and make natural, well composed and lit photos of your baby.
Using any camera (35mm film or digital), Janet will show you how to use the best natural lighting in your house, and how you can use simple and cheap household lighting to produce a good light environment for baby shots. She will demonstrate the use of backgrounds and diffusion materials to enhance picture taking, and provide a list of household materials to use for impromptu and temporary ‘home studio’ set-ups.
