The DAVID GAME SCHOOL OF PHOTOGRAPHY was founded by James Bartholomew, owner and Course Director. Internationally published photographer and author with 25 years' experience of Fine Art and commercial photography, James is also experienced in photographic education and key skill recruitment for top professionals to teach photography to keen amateurs.

Workshops are run at David Game College in London's Notting Hill Gate, and also different locations around London for specialised courses. See courses page for full details of all our workshops.

For James, creative photography is a window to a person’s relationship with themselves and to the world.

“Come on our courses if to take better snapshots, or become a professional. Everyone's expectations of using a camera is different, but learning how to use a camera usually includes also learning how to see things differently.

“On a deeper level, photography becomes a development of more than visual awareness, reflecting values and meanings both inside and outside yourself.

“Visual curiosity is a keen way to explore personal meaning, and develops new ways of seeing the world. This reflective philosophy keeps opening your mind as well as your eyes. The camera in the end, simply creates your intention.”
